Dress code

Wondering how you can show up to be amazing on the first day? Definitely not by stressing about the dress code. At Best Buy Canada, we have developed a casual dress code that allows you to be yourself.

All employees (unless mentioned otherwise below) must wear the blue Best Buy polo shirt.

The shirt may be tucked in or worn untucked. If worn untucked the shirt must fit well and must not reach below mid hip level.

Pants / Skirts

Colour: Solid khaki, black, or dark denim colours.

Style: Must sit comfortably at waist level with no rips or tears.

Length: Pants can be cuffed or end just slightly above ankles and should not drag on the floor.

Skirts: Solid neutral colours (khaki, black, or denim). Should be kept at a professional length, no higher than 3 inches above the knee. If you decide to wear tights under your skirt, please keep the colours neutral as well. Please make sure you wear black cotton or dress pants that are ironed and free of holes, rips and stains.

Black skirts reaching the knee may be worn with black stockings and solid shoes.

Here is a list of material and styles that would not be acceptable to wear:
  • Capris
  • Leggings
  • Yoga style pants
  • Sweat pants / athletic wear

Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes that are mostly solid colour.
