Wondering how you can show up to be amazing on the first day? Definitely not by stressing about the dress code. At the Best Buy Canadian headquarters (CHQ), our dress code is business casual, but we do encourage you to dress to suit the occasion.
Explore your schedule daily and consider what is on your plate, whom you will be meeting with, and what impressions you need to make before making your final decision.
Where to eat
Probably one of the most exciting things all new hires go home and tell their friends and families about is... the HUB.
The HUB is our subsidized cafeteria which brings all the comforts of homemade meals right to work for less than it might cost you to make them yourself!
The HUB also doubles as an alternate meeting space from everything to a meeting over coffee to a monthly building-wide employee meeting.
It truly is the centre of activity and the focal point of the CHQ community.
The HUB seats about 150 people. You can make your own salad or stir-fry, or enjoy a selection of daily entrees inspired by our diverse world of cultures. Some fan favorites are the breakfast wraps, butter chicken, and BBQ cookouts. You can find the weekly menu on ETK.
Check out the HUB video to learn more.

Big Bend Crossing and Market Crossing are across from each other on Marine Way at Byrne Road (just a few blocks east of CHQ). There you will find a bank, grocery store, Starbucks, Tim Horton's, Cactus Club Cafe and White Spot (just to name a few).
